Ryan Rebo

Ryan Rebo has been creating and recording a wide variety of music for the last decade. He first expressed his passion for music at the age of 15, as a bass player in a young band. Since then, he has been involved with numerous musical groups, taking diverse roles. In 2001, Ryan had a hand in the creation of a successful band Broadband Shortwave, in which he then sang, wrote lyrics and played guitar and keys. Broadband Shortwave, although very unique, was compared to groups such as Radiohead and Spoon. The talented group produced and recorded an EP called Lazy Atoms, and shared the stage with acts such as Elf Power, Via Audio, Times New Viking, and many other well-known Indie musicians. Although gaining momentum and receiving favorable reviews, the group agreed to go separate ways in the spring of 2008 in an effort to pursue their own personal ventures.

His latest achievements are his EP Lonely Scientist in 2010, Dizzy American in 2009, and independently recorded full-length album under the name Ryan Rebo in 2008. He began working on the album in August of 2008 and Dizzy American was completed in January of 2009. The album originated as a bedroom recording project in his home in Montana, and later graduated to a private studio space in a beautiful valley surrounded by Montana mountains. The scenery from the studio window was a great source of inspiration for Ryan as he pieced together each lyric, and instrument in the lengthy multi-tracking process. After writing, recording and mixing Dizzy American, Ryan sent the album to New York to be mastered by sound guru Fred Kevorkian (Ryan Adams, Rufus Wainwright). The song Dizzy American has been used by Apple & several films over the last year.

Through all of his experience, Ryan is confident that the collection of his work on Dizzy American truly reflects his unique personal musical style. As he is constantly writing and recording, Ryan's goals include the production of a new album annually. He continues to cultivate throughout the industry by producing, recording, and touring; gaining an amassed fan base.
